This is very important as it allows for the ability to apply yourself to presenting something that would be concluded with a positive reaction. To get a positive reaction, you will have to think about what type of audience you will be presenting to.
This would help with deciding the layout and structure of the presentation. This could also be used in other situations such as an interview as it gives you a good understanding of what type of language to use, ie formal language etc…
In a case of a presentation, you will have to understand your audience to also decide the language techniques that could be used. This could be using letters and reports for a slightly more adult audience or fun with emoticons for a slightly more younger audience.
